Upenyu is proud to be sponsors of this event for a great cause. Come join us tonight and bid in the Silent Auction to get Upenyu Clothing in gift bags! In support of The Heart Truth campaign to raise awareness about the importance of heart health, we will be presenting Men in Black and Ladies in Red – an Appointment with Music. This fundraising event will be hosted by TRIXX (one of Canada’s top stand-up comedians) and Babbzy (Toronto Video Blogger) with music by DJ Reddy Fox (formerly of Flow 93.5), DJ Doc (Kardinal Offishall tour DJ) and DJ Mel Boogie. This amazing event will be held in the theatre district of Toronto’s downtown core at Dazzling Lounge on Friday, June 11th, 2010 and feature a silent auction of donated prizes and artwork.
Facts about Heart Disease and Stroke

• Studies show that most women in Canada don’t realize that heart disease and stroke are their leading cause of death.
• Stroke kills 45% more women than men. And women are 16% more likely than men to die after a heart attack.
• African and Caribbean Canadians, First Nations, Inuit and Métis people, and South Asians from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have a greater chance of developing high blood pressure, heart disease and stroke.
• Awareness of your risks, of the warning signs, and of prevention and treatment options is your best defense against heart disease and stroke.
